Primary Care and Public Health: A Study of Local Collaboration

This research study is currently underway in Wisconsin and three other states. Local health department directors and primary care medical officers and administrators across all four states have been invited to participate in an online survey.

To date, Wisconsin’s public health director response rate on the online survey lags considerably behind Washington, Colorado, and Minnesota!  Wisconsin’s current response rate is just 47%, while the other states’ rates are 67%, 84%, and 86%.  Wisconsin can do better!

But, time is running out!  The survey is scheduled to be closed in early June.  Your responses are very important to this project.  If you haven’t responded yet, please look for an email from the University of Minnesota and click on the survey link in that email.  If you are a LHD director and haven’t received the email, please check your “spam” folder.  If you have not gotten the email, and believe you should have, please contact the Principal Investigator, Beth Gyllstrom, at or 651-201-4072, or contact the Wisconsin Co-Investigator, Susan Zahner, at or 608-263-5282.
