Dr. Robert N. Golden, dean of the UW School of Medicine and Public Health, provided the Wisconsin United for Health Foundation (WUHF) Board of Directors with an update on the Wisconsin Partnership Program’s first decade of addressing Wisconsin’s most serious health issues.

Dr. Golden shared examples of community-academic partnerships, educational advances and research discoveries that emerged since the Partnership Program’s inception in 2004. His presentation included videos about the Healthy Families Kenosha project and the Healthy Activities Partnership Program for Youth (HAPPY).

The WUHF oversaw the distribution of the funds from the conversion of Blue Cross & Blue Shield United of Wisconsin to a stock insurance corporation. Thomas Lyon of Cambridge chairs the WUHF Board.
