Upcoming Webinar: PFAS and Opportunities for Local and Tribal Public Health Input

The Wisconsin PFAS Action Council (WisPAC), which includes the Department of Health Services (DHS), is interested in input from local and tribal public health agencies for the development of a statewide action plan to address environmental contamination by per- and polyfluoroalkyl substances (PFAS).

Please join us on Friday, January 31 at 1 p.m. for a kick-off webinar to discuss PFAS and upcoming opportunities for you to provide input on the PFAS action plan. This webinar session will be presented by Chuck Warzecha, Division of Public Health (DPH) deputy administrator, and Clara Jeong, Ph.D., DPH toxicologist. Attendees will learn:

  • What are PFAS and why are we concerned about them?
  • Current PFAS concerns in Wisconsin
  • The next steps in the process, including how you can provide input
