The National Center for Healthy Housing (NCHH) is accepting applications until 5 pm, ET on March 22 for a new funding opportunity to help communities build local capacity and advance evidence-based lead poisoning prevention efforts – the 2019 Lead Poisoning Prevention Grants: Equipping Communities for Action through the National Lead Poisoning Prevention Network.

Eligible applicants include local or regional nonprofit and community-based organizations (including public health institutes) and county, local, and tribal government agencies who are based in the United States and serve small and mid-sized cities (50,000-400,000 residents). Funding should be used to build capacity within a community and help communities achieve policy, practice, or systems change.
